Privacy policy

Data we collect

When you create an account we store your name, email address, password (hashed, never in plain text) and, for suppliers, company details such as city, website and WhatsApp number. When you submit a request for quotation we keep the message, quantities and contact details you provide, because delivering them to the factory is the entire point of the form. Server logs record IP addresses briefly for security and abuse prevention.

We currently run no third-party analytics or advertising scripts: no Google Analytics, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

Cookies

The only cookie we set is a session cookie that keeps you signed in. It contains no advertising identifiers and expires when your session ends. There is no cookie consent banner because there is nothing optional to consent to.

How data is used and shared

Your data is used to operate the marketplace: showing supplier profiles you chose to publish, routing RFQs to the factories you picked and sending transactional notifications. We do not sell personal data to anyone, ever. The one deliberate share is obvious: an RFQ you send to a supplier is shown to that supplier.

Your rights (GDPR & KVKK)

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and Türkiye's Law No. 6698 (KVKK) you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask for the account and everything attached to it to be erased. Email hello@turkishclothingsuppliers.com from the address on the account and we will action deletion requests within 30 days.

Retention and questions

Accounts stay active until you close them; RFQ threads are kept while either party might reasonably need the record, then purged. Questions about this policy are welcome via the contact page.
